"text": "Sep 25: Didn't start the training plan today but I did finalize the plan online, adding a Training Log and a page for the Supplement Stack. I also selected the creatine and purchased it.\r\n\r\nI also had a design consult with a Paul Wrights, that took a total of 3 hours including travel. It did apparently lead to a design contract win.\r\n\r\nAlso created an invoice and a contract for Paul Wrights and emailed both.\r\n\r\nAnd Created an estimate for Jeffrey for Kingsley job.\r\n\r\nSep 26:\r\nLooked at Insurance plans through Georgia Access. Reference Kaiser foundation health plan silver plan covers 80% after deductible. I pay the 20%. After subsidies for individual for me, was approximately $350 a month. $5,000 deductible. \r\n\r\nMedical insurance scenario: signing up in November. Could not submit a claim until January but would cover any procedures in November with no pre-existing conditions. Will a surgery cost of 20K, Surgery would have a coinsurance, 20%, $3,000. Add deductible of 5,000. Surgery will cost $8,000. Silver plans max out of pocket is 9,450 which will cover any additional if rehab or PT pushes costs higher. \r\n\r\n\r\nTouched base with Heather Dorsey about stopping by and giving a review \r\n\r\nTouched base with Todd Duffield for the same reason\r\n\r\nWorked on the Recovery Plan Website, and took 10g of the Creatine\r\n\r\nDid mobility exercises for the shoulder.\r\n\r\nTouched base with Julie Ann Waterfield\r\n\r\nNever created the two estimates Jeffrey requested this morning.\r\n\r\nSep 28\r\nExplored using life insurance benefit. Possibility will work after a call with Robert naaman. But cannot submit the claim until a year after policy started which is in March 2026.\r\n\r\nSep 28\r\nCreated the 3 estimates for Jeffrey and advanced the recovery plan website\r\n\r\nSep 29\r\nFollowed up with clients \r\nFinished the ReKover website\r\n\r\nSep 30\r\nOn website: I'm an engineer - design remains iterative forever. Incorporated branding, color uniformity, layout bugs. Got stuck on some things, Stored bunch of Rekover stuff in OneNote, and spent the day till 10p, 14 hours or so\r\n\r\nAte once the whole day (then right before bed- ugh)\r\n\r\nTook a call from hancock's office \r\nFilled out 2 things on MyChart requested by Piedmont\r\nReceived email from Hancock's office to fill out tomorrow\r\n\r\nOct 1\r\nThe series of complex calls was able to get the estimate in Piedmont hospital for the surgery and even make 50% deposit on the nearly $17,000 it will cost. But I feel like I beat the odds and even want a lottery by getting The surgery date firmed up.\r\n\r\nIt seems as though pain from one or two broken ribs has been some amount of love or all pain and that seems to be subsiding some. \r\n\r\nMy overall physical feeling kind of kept me from trying to get on the bike. \r\n\r\nWhen I started thinking more about getting back on the bike on the trainer - I decided to research it and specifically so for high level athletes and their methods and success. I found mostly what I expected: that being anecdotal information about them recovering quicker and getting back to training quicker maybe in half the time. \r\n\r\nMost important out of the research was that the first couple weeks any cycling would be a recumbent bike position. Moving into a regular position with both hands on the hoods was more like two months later. I put all my research in OneNote for future recall.\r\n\r\nI created a logo for the ReKover website I created. I made a few tweaks, and then went down a deep rabbit hole for hours and had to recover an old copy and start over.\r\n\r\nThru research on the pool metal staining, found a metals filter that removes 20ppm on 20,000 gal",

"text": "Oct 2: Changed the name of the website to ReKover, and propagated that change all throughout the pages in the domain. Then created a subdomain on GoHW.net, rekover.gohw.net, and I'm waiting on that to propagate DNS before I can create a forwarding instruction at DNS to send recover.gohw.net references to gohw.net\/Rekover.html\r\n\r\nTook a call from Piedmont hospital a nurse there his name is in my chart. Call was about surgery coming up next Tuesday and preparing. A letter with details is in my chart. \r\n\r\nShort term disability calls:\r\n\r\nAutoOwners: fail except changing semi-annual payment to monthly. Payment down to 440 from 2400 due. No financial assistance available. \r\n\r\nFollowed up with Garrison the insurance broker: expecting to get a call back from Gregory tomorrow to discuss coverage reductions to help premium reduction. \r\n\r\nNoted some fasciculations (twitches) in the legs today and noted research on it - in OneNote\r\n\r\nShort-term disability: Federal can kick in only after a year, meant for more long-term disability. Nothing exists for Georgia, no State run short-term disability program.\r\n\r\nMr Cooper mortgage: chat and phone call finally led to an email that's supposed to come: they will processing and be in touch. Loan modification was brought up in chat and I asked if there was a less invasive way which is how I got to the phone call via number they gave me. 8884802432 (also exposes as to a higher interest rate I believe) Mortgage is still due Oct 16th for now and I don't suspect this will change.\r\n\r\nAlso looked at Heloc and Home Equity Loans\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 3\r\nDesign effort start with Paul Wrights in Brookhaven (Tina drove and helped me measure)\r\n\r\nWorked some more on the Georgia Access Health Insurance application process - waiting on call back from Robert Brown, the accountant.\r\n\r\nResearched and documented (in OneNote) pool metal staining root causes and relationship to phosphate treatments. Developed several solution options. Worked that until had plan to solve and product required \r\n\r\nCreated the OneNote project folders for both Jennifer and Brian Harcourt as well as Paul Wrights, and Shared the OneNote with the clients\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 4\r\nReceived pool incoming water metal filter system. Had to rebuild The awful instruction manually it came with. During process I discovered I can use the same Fillfast system to clean the entire pool water contents. So spent time on what that would look like and how it would perform vs one of culator's simpler products you just drop in the pump reservoir. Documented those results in OneNote. \r\n\r\nAction needed on above is rental of an electric pump to start the pool water cleanup. The thinking now is that this will use a set of two of the fill fast filters and the remaining two set filter system will be used ongoing for incoming water supply.\r\n\r\nUpdated both design clients OneNotes (Harcourt and Wright) to include current contracts and photos and the site measurement and sketches\r\n\r\nOct 5\r\nPool metals: received flow sensor and metal testing strips. Looked at pump need based on filter flow rate reqmt, and found what needed at home depot. Also need ball valve for flow control and maybe jumper hoses...\r\n\r\nDrew a diagram to capture need for adapters and jumper hoses - Documented in OneNote\r\n\r\nTina grabbed the pump, adapter, and jumper hose\r\n\r\nFor Jennifer and Brian Harcourt client: Created The as built conditions in chief architect, for the up call bath and the first floor. Also created first concept for the proposed hall bath\r\n\r\nOct 6\r\nTweaked the Harcourt up hall bath design.\r\n\r\nFound an error in the Harcourt As built condition. Need to visit the site for new dimensions \r\n\r\nWent to pre-op with Tina and visited the hospital location\r\n\r\nMeasured at the Harcourt's again and reconciled the as built condition and completed the full as built condition for both floors. Created concept for 1st floor changes, created render views for later showing to client and documented in OneNote",

"text": "Oct 7\r\nFinalized Harcourt concept 1 and communicated with client about an upcoming meeting at my office to review\r\n\r\nSURGERY in Athens: \r\nMichelle, Amy, and Alexis were my nurses. Impressive hospital and staff.\r\n\r\nMartha came down twice but we missed her both times.\r\n\r\nReclined on sofa the rest of the day starting at 4:30. One super sharp pain that lasted for about 3 to 4 seconds at the top of my shoulder\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 8\r\nSaw Justin at sports rehab and was advised to switch over to Jason. Met him. He was kl's PT. He and Justin both used the word massive to describe my injury and surgical repair.\r\n\r\nWe were rescheduled for the next day to see Jason for the ACT Ortho eval. It wasn't very long after that, on the way home, that the interscalene nerve block from surgery wore off. The pain from that point on grew and became unbearable all throughout the rest of the day and the night to the point where I was having to take more hydrocodone then prescribed. Even that wasn't enough. We called the doctor's office to ask for stronger medicine\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 9\r\nTweaked on Harcourt design\/decor after bad night with the shoulder \r\n\r\nHad the ACT Ortho eval with Jason The Piedmont sports rehab. He moved it around while I fought him. They said our main function right now is rest and getting rid of the pain. He did the compression cryotherapy at the end and it was glorious.\r\n\r\nWe got the new prescription paper for oxycodone, and headed home\r\n\r\nOct 10\r\nPain. I track my day in 4 hour periods of oxycodone dosage.\r\n\r\nI get a little bit of work in with design here and there but it's not productive. \r\n\r\nI communicated with Paul Wrights that I'd like to get started on his design in three or four days.\r\n\r\nI made tentative arrangements to meet with a harcourts on Sunday 11th, for concept review. I'm about 8 hours over the 20-hour contract. I did not get their approval for it prior. I may ask them for two or three of the hours. Though they both work for the CDC and they're currently furloughed. Yikes\r\n\r\nReceived our compression and cold therapy machine. I'm using it most of the day. It works very well and the water is still cold though we filled it up this morning. It's mostly as good as the game ready unit from the therapy center. Maybe the shoulder cuff fit isn't quite as good, That's about it. \r\n\r\nK.L. called can we talked about stuff for a while. At least the way it sounded, he had everything covered and folks were stepping in to help just fine.\r\n\r\nBonnie and Tina's mother came and visited for about an hour. \r\n\r\nTook my last pain medication at 5:00 and I think the neighbor Eddie's about to pop over.\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 11\r\nTalked to Carl on the phone for a while about Dean and kayaking the Canooche nasty river in the past\r\n\r\nPain management, sleep very little, body battery 5 with high stress all day\r\n\r\nOct 12\r\nMuscle jerks during sleep and skin itching sensation at the shoulder. Jerks wake me in near tears. Research says is common post surgery: muscle relaxers and relaxation techniques, and hydration\/electrolyte management. I watch electrolyte and hydration heavily bc of pain meds and constipation concerns. Tried breathing techniques thru the watch app, and no problem last night anyway\r\n\r\n2 1\/2 hour long concept meeting with Harcourts. They loved the designs for the upbath and the downstairs. Govt. shutdown is currently affecting them (CDC scientists) so they are currently on holding pattern.\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 13\r\nLongest night of sleep yet last night. Wen 7 hours on one pain med cycle. Breg cryo\/compresion machine may be helping. Using it many, many times per day.\r\n\r\nGot back to Rekover subdomain and trying to get it working. Spent hours with AI and Aplus tech support. Still not working. Ticket escalated in APlus tech support for SSL certificate for the rekover.gohw.net subdomain\r\n\r\nStill no riding, trying to keep shoulder\/scapula mobile, and manage pain and protection\r\n\r\nHours of work on rekover site. adding Therapy Banner to come out when Fitness Banner does",

Client loved tweaks and paid\r\n\r\n\r\nPool water filtration system started failing via drop in flow rate from 3 to 2.4 gpm. Rotated and flipped filters around and got flow back up to 3gpm. Then it went back down to 1.4gpm about 2 hours later. I swapped to a new filter pair and it went back to 2.7gpm but then 2-3 hours later it failed entirely.\r\n\r\nHad been raising the Alkalinity and PH slowly when it failed. Need to do it more often\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 26\r\nSwung shoulder, took shower, swung shoulder\r\n\r\nWent with Tina to buy a new pump, and had the water tested. Copper was down to 0.4 from .8, The alkalinity was up to 53 and the pH was up to 6.8. Came home and put the existing old pump in the pool in a submersed state this time and it started working but then after a couple hours, The flow rate has dropped to 1.4 GPM\r\n\r\nTalked to Carl a while on the phone\r\n\r\nChecked into recirculating of pool pump putting dirt back into the pool. Pool vacuum is pushing some of the dirt around instead of vacuuming it up. \r\n\r\nPump is failing again. Had to cut it off at 9pm. Will take apart tomorrow to check for blockage\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 27 \r\nSo the pumps were never failing. The small inline filter that the flow meter contained was clogged. Cleaned it out and hooked the first pump back up and it's pumping like new.\r\n\r\nShoulder is moving better and feeling better even out of the sling.\r\n\r\nStill taking the full stack (except the keytones as I have purchased them yet). THe HMB pills are ginormous and very difficult to swallow.\r\n\r\nShoulder feeling better, lower arm bends better. I several times and did shoulder swings. \r\n\r\nFillfast filtration pumping worked all day. \r\n\r\nTweaked on recover website adding muscle response data to the fitness banner\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nStarted on new project, Say What social connection app with an NFT style one-off t-shirt as the output",

"text": "Oct 28\r\nCreated estimate for Kendra Mayfield\r\n\r\nWorked a new excel based wallcovering estimator which works by fully simulating the pattern on to the each wall's full elevation, that is all its elements (like windows, doors, fireplaces).\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 29\r\nSame thing as yesterday, working on the n, still didn't get to a rough complete state, meaning still not working. \r\n\r\n\r\nExercised shoulder more today with passive ROM and did compressive cryotherapy many times\r\n\r\nPool water tested out well at normal PH and Alkalinity, Still .2ppm Iron and Copper down to .4ppm\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 30\r\nATC with Jason at 10:30: 120 degrees with elbow at side, 7 minutes of pain, 150-155 degrees going over head in side plane, 130 degrees in frontal plan\r\n\r\nHopefully will get to a rough completion on new estimator and check for estimate accuracy\r\n\r\n\r\nOct 31-Nov 3\r\nLong days developing a new wall covering simulator. I experienced many levels of success followed by too many failures. The task started with an objective of a full simulation of each strip as it went around the room intersecting wall features. It evolved to a hybrid of my old estimator with new functionality. That functionality did two things that was new compared to the old estimator; which results in a more accurate roll count. 1. Subtracts for wide features in a room while simultaneously considering full strip intersection with those openings. 2. Considers enrolls being used for overs and unders which subtracts from the total roll count in a room. \r\n\r\nI compared the result to three recent estimates and found consistently that it reduced the roll count. Comparing it to those it is notable that I had been attempting to consider wide features in those three estimates but using my old estimator. In doing so my consideration of the wide features was liberal in its approach and ended up reducing the roll count too much. I had two inform three clients that I had underestimated their spaces as a result.",

"text": "Nov 4\r\nToday I found a couple of small errors in the new wallcovering strip simulator, let's call it, and checked it again and I think it is working well. So I spent some time on data validation and conditional formatting and improving format and layout so that The user workflow would be good. \r\n\r\nThe new strip simulator only focuses on total roll count to order and does not do any labor calculations (as my original one does). Possible improvement may be to add that functionality, or maybe the wall strip simulator is just used as a companion tool to my old estimator (especially in the scenario where a space has wide openings)\r\n\r\nThe past few days have had some computer focus time but have had some time where my arm is out of the sling and even using the arm for mouse operation.\r\n\r\nI have been using The compressive cryotherapy as well. Less pain during, maybe due to my ability to relax more.\r\n\r\nTweaked on Rekover website, worked with pool, getting the the Combined Chlorine down to .5ppm is taking a lot of time. May be 3-4 days longer. According to Chat GPT... And drop tests.\r\n\r\n\r\nWorked on deploying the strip&roll simulator on a GoHw webpage. May get there today, may not. Had to create $6\/month public-use user to make it happen, along with permissions stuff in SharePoint, creating an imbed and putting them in an iframe on the page, and creating a unique permissions users folder on SharePoint where a copy of the simulator resides and can be written and overridden.\r\n\r\nSet up a job for Nevada to do for Valerie Garrett, show house powder room, hung poorly by Mark Rufrage.\r\n\r\nSuccess late ind day deployment of the strip n roll simulator. \r\n\r\nPlayed chess with Lana. Sign-in and using from Androids and Windows Desktops is working.\r\n\r\nStill monitoring pool's chlorine recovery process.\r\n\r\nShoulder sore.\r\n\r\n\r\nNov 8\r\nCloser to getting Pool out of recovery as far as contaminants and chlorine treatment and into maintenance so we can turn the chlorinator back on. \r\n\r\nTina and I blew the pool deck off and the court off and picked up dog poop this morning. Blew again in the afternoon and continued testing and treating the water. Hoping combined chlorine is below 0.5 tomorrow and the last day of it. By end of day we had Combined Chlorine down to around .8-1 ppm.\r\n\r\nWe installed a new magnetic screen for the sunroom and allows the dogs to go in and out. This can be open during the fair climate months 7 months out of the year. \r\n\r\nContinued developing the concept of Say What. \r\n\r\nHad some time out of the sling today. I'm only supposed to do that once a week.\r\n\r\n\r\nNov 10\r\nOh the simplest of things on the Strip n Roll Simulator today; occupied my entire day. Embarrassing. I was just trying to get the page ready for the reveal to the guys. I wanted the page to be zoomed up so the input could be large without having to pinch zoom. Finish that the earliest time yet today at 3:30 or maybe it was 4:00. \r\n\r\nThen Tina and I went to Lowe's to pick up a few materials that I will need for tomorrow, when I will The configuring an apparatus to help me get back on the bike. Wel with Tina's help, putting up a higher hand placement bar. \r\n\r\nWatched Daddy's home with Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell. The whole family watched.\r\n\r\n\r\nNov 20\r\nFirst post-op visit with Dr Hancock. He was happy with the way the arm moved and mentioned something about if we had any kind of motion limit later he may have to go back in and clear out the scarring that might be causing that. I did not enjoy hearing this. I asked him if he saw something that indicated he may have to do this and he replied no I think he was just informing me worst case. Dr Hancock took me out of my well he took the adductor pillow off of my sling. I think I'll be in the sling for another 2 weeks. \r\n\r\nI had PT with Jason and he moved my arm much further than he had in the past I was really sore after and remained sore for days actually. \r\n\r\nI should have iced more but I worked on the room simulator super obsessed with it lots of changes and improvements and finding bugs \r\n\r\nJeffrey Baker finally paid for the job Brian did for me, The single accident wall in the moray stuff\r\n\r\n\r\nNov 21\r\nStill sore from PT. But also maybe sore from not using the adductor pillow with the sling. I'm really curious about whether or not I should put the adductor pillow back in. I need to go to my chart and ask the doctor or Joe the PA. I slept with the adductor pillow as it didn't feel right without it. \r\n\r\nFinally worked out issues with the room simulator web page have that solved and tweaked some final ization stuff on the room simulator excel file. Didn't work on it all day just little things here and there really getting to the point where it's finished. Added a typical room sketch with dimensions and notes to the simulator. \r\n\r\n\r\nTina found a couple of pretty good chairs and brought them home and we put them in the kitchen bay window area. Been wanting to do that for a number of years. The area is not finished of course but we've started on it.\r\n\r\nNov 22\r\nWell yesterday was winding down the room simulator stuff pretty well. Today was really the first day that proved it's finished. Haven't worked on it at all today. In fact Tina and Dean help me get something several things done that really needed to be done. Tina help me get the bike situated where I can get back on the bike (secured resistance bands mounted to the flanking cabinets on either side of the bike, and we added a pad to the handlebars to raise that up). \r\n\r\nDean helped me with the projector platform to finally secure it (needed to be done since we put it up there). And I worked out my ergonomic floor pad for the desk area. Lana cleaned up the pool and the pool deck. Super productive day. And a day that wasn't spent staring at a screen - so felt really good.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nNov 23\r\nCarl Fuller came to visit. And while he was here I did my first ride with the assistance apparatus Tina helped me with. I rode about 90 minutes super easy. \r\n\r\nTweaked on the room simulator a little - of course.\r\n\r\nSat in the new chairs in the kitchen bay and did cryotherapy. Shoulder is sore more but has a noticeably better ROM (even active one, though I'm not testing that either)\r\n\r\nWorked with Nevada \r\n\r\nNov 24\r\nDid a TymeWear Ramp Style Threshold Test today. Lost about 15% of Power at VO2max. Waiting on official results. Pretty sure no longer at Pro Level.\r\n\r\nTweaked on the Rekover Website to update Phases given that it assumed I'd be training up to this point, and i did not.\r\n\r\nTweaked on the Room Simulator, Web Page formatting. But I should have rode solo. Knowing this is prone to happen I decided to ride in a group anyway and so because of the group ride I chose and my reduced fitness I ended up being in zone 3 and 4 mostly and even end zone 5 a little bit. So not good that I couldn't follow simple instruction. I will have to get better. But the apparatus Tina and I rigged up is definitely doing its job and allowing me the time on the bike. Though I do have a little bit of soreness afterwards. Nice hot shower especially over the shoulder and now I'm on cryotherapy.\r\n\r\nTina is out doing Thanksgiving dinner shopping with Lucy.\r\n\r\nI've been trying to get the kids and Tina to clean the pool out more. On 2nd and 3rd I incorporated the Stability image generator into the muralizer. This involved things new to me, again. The JavaScript heavy page distilled deep mural intelligence into a UI for human consumption and selection, which then generated a detailed prompt in both technical and poetic form. This would be fed into the image generator, Stability SD3 (paywall). But the image generation requires compute time so the image generation could not occur on the gohw website, the frontend. So all The passing of the information and the formatting and the image generation has to occur on a backend. So this ended up being Render, and to support maintenance and ease of operation mental also had to use GitHub which Render easily spoke communicates with out of the box. Render is free currently due to our low use.\r\n\r\nSo in 3 days basic website was created a JavaScript incorporated, a node server was implemented locally which checked the API connection between the JavaScript and the image generator, Stability. Then Render and GitHub were incorporated and debugged. And most of today the 4th was improving the UI of the muralizer page. \r\n\r\nNext step is creating a PWA web app. Which is an installable app that takes up the whole screen. \r\n\r\nOther important activities: basically the four steps which is listed below the mural image generated on the web page.....\r\n\r\nseparate an existing mural which has been incorporated into a chief architect room into a strip\/panel indicative of what would be installed IRL. \r\n\r\nDo a test print to check the quality of the image. \r\n\r\nDepending on that result, feed that separated panel image into stability' image tool which upscales the image. \r\n\r\nDo another test print.",
