Note
Oct 28 Created estimate for Kendra Mayfield Worked a new excel based wallcovering estimator which works by fully simulating the pattern on to the each wall's full elevation, that is all its elements (like windows, doors, fireplaces). Oct 29 Same thing as yesterday, working on the n, still didn't get to a rough complete state, meaning still not working. Exercised shoulder more today with passive ROM and did compressive cryotherapy many times Pool water tested out well at normal PH and Alkalinity, Still .2ppm Iron and Copper down to .4ppm Oct 30 ATC with Jason at 10:30: 120 degrees with elbow at side, 7 minutes of pain, 150-155 degrees going over head in side plane, 130 degrees in frontal plan Hopefully will get to a rough completion on new estimator and check for estimate accuracy Oct 31-Nov 3 Long days developing a new wall covering simulator. I experienced many levels of success followed by too many failures. The task started with an objective of a full simulation of each strip as it went around the room intersecting wall features. It evolved to a hybrid of my old estimator with new functionality. That functionality did two things that was new compared to the old estimator; which results in a more accurate roll count. 1. Subtracts for wide features in a room while simultaneously considering full strip intersection with those openings. 2. Considers enrolls being used for overs and unders which subtracts from the total roll count in a room. I compared the result to three recent estimates and found consistently that it reduced the roll count. Comparing it to those it is notable that I had been attempting to consider wide features in those three estimates but using my old estimator. In doing so my consideration of the wide features was liberal in its approach and ended up reducing the roll count too much. I had two inform three clients that I had underestimated their spaces as a result.
